1. About us and these Terms
These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of riftbound.singles and its checkout pages (together, the "Website") and every purchase you make through it. The Website is operated by Mikaeru TCG ("Mikaeru", "we", "us" or "our"), Shop 212, 2/F, iSQUARE, 63 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong SAR.
By browsing the Website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
2. Beta service
The Website is currently offered as a beta version. While we work hard to keep it accurate and reliable, it may contain errors, inaccuracies or technical faults, including in product information, prices, stock levels and order processing.
We reserve the right to correct any error, inaccuracy or omission caused by a technical fault or bug at any time, including after an order has been placed. Where a correction affects an order you have placed, we will contact you and you may choose to continue with the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund of any amount you have paid.
3. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to place an order. You are responsible for keeping your account sign-in details confidential and for all activity under your account. The information you give us (including your name, email address and phone number) must be accurate and kept up to date. Each customer may hold only one account.
4. Products
- We sell trading card game products, including single cards and sealed products (booster boxes, booster cases and bundles). Unless stated otherwise, single cards are sold in near-mint condition and in the language indicated on the Website.
- Product images are for illustration. Card artwork, printing and minor variations between copies are determined by the manufacturer and may differ slightly from the image shown.
- Sealed products are sold as supplied by the manufacturer. The contents of booster packs are random; we do not guarantee any particular card, rarity or value.
- Riftbound, League of Legends and related names and images are trademarks of Riot Games, Inc. The Website is operated independently by Mikaeru and is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with Riot Games.
5. Prices
All prices are in Hong Kong dollars (HKD). Products shown without a price ("Price coming soon") are not yet available for sale. If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of a typographical, technical or system error, we are not obliged to supply it at that price: we will notify you and either offer the product at the correct price or cancel the order and refund you in full.
6. Orders and our right to cancel
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we accept your order, which happens when we confirm that your payment has been received and the order is being prepared. We may decline or cancel any order (in whole or in part) before or after acceptance, with a full refund of any amount paid, where:
- the product is out of stock, unavailable or was listed in error;
- payment is not received in full, or cannot be verified;
- the order exceeds a purchase limit (for example, "Limited to 1 per customer"), including where limits are bypassed through multiple accounts, names, email addresses, phone numbers or orders;
- we reasonably believe the order involves fraud, resale abuse, or a breach of these Terms; or
- we reasonably believe the order was placed by exploiting a loophole, error, vulnerability or bug in the Website, the checkout or our pricing — whether intentionally or by knowingly taking advantage of an obvious error. In such cases we may also suspend or close the related account(s).
7. Payment
Payment is made at checkout using the methods shown there. For payments by FPS (Faster Payment System), you must transfer the exact order total to the FPS ID shown at checkout and upload your payment screenshot at riftbound.singles/pay. Your order is confirmed only once we have verified the payment. If payment is not received within 48 hours of placing the order, we may cancel the order and release the items.
8. Pre-orders
- Pre-order products are paid in full in advance. Release and pickup dates shown on the Website are estimates provided by the manufacturer or distributor and may change.
- We will keep you informed of any delay. If the manufacturer or distributor cancels the product, or reduces our allocation so that we cannot fulfil your pre-order, we will refund you in full.
- If the estimated release date is delayed by more than 30 days, you may cancel your pre-order for a full refund. Otherwise, paid pre-orders cannot be cancelled for change of mind.
- Where a bundle contains items already in stock and pre-order items, the in-stock items may be collected first, as described on the product page.
9. Collection (store pickup)
During the beta, orders are available for store pickup only at Shop 212, 2/F, iSQUARE, 63 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon (open daily, 13:00–21:00). We will notify you when your order is ready. Please bring your order number; we may ask for identification matching the order details. Orders not collected within 30 days of our notification may be cancelled and refunded, less any reasonable handling costs permitted by law. Please check your items at pickup; ownership and risk pass to you on collection. Local delivery (for example, by SF Express) will be offered later and will be subject to the delivery terms shown at checkout.
10. Returns, refunds and faulty items
- Because trading cards are collectible items whose condition can change after handling, we do not accept returns for change of mind once an order has been collected.
- If an item is incorrect, missing or materially not as described, please tell us at pickup or within 7 days of collection, with your order number and photos. Single cards must be returned in the same condition and protective sleeve in which they were supplied; sealed products must be returned unopened with their seal intact.
- Where a refund is due, we will refund you using the original payment method (FPS refunds are made to the FPS account used for payment) within 14 days of approving the refund.
- Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under Hong Kong law, including under the Sale of Goods Ordinance (Cap. 26) and the Trade Descriptions Ordinance (Cap. 362).
11. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the Website, including by: using bots, scripts or automated tools to browse, buy or reserve products; interfering with or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Website or its systems; deliberately triggering or exploiting errors or bugs; or using the Website for any unlawful purpose. If you discover an error or bug, please report it to us rather than use it — we appreciate the feedback during the beta.
12. Intellectual property
The Website's design, text, graphics and software are owned by or licensed to Mikaeru and may not be copied or reused without our written permission. Third-party trademarks and card images remain the property of their respective owners.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Hong Kong law, and subject to the Control of Exemption Clauses Ordinance (Cap. 71): (a) the Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, particularly during the beta; (b) we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, opportunity or expected value of any product; and (c) our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Personal data
We handle your personal data in accordance with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) and our Privacy Policy. Payment screenshots you upload are used only to verify your payment.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, for example as new features (such as foil cards, delivery or Traditional Chinese cards) are added. The version published on the Website when you place an order applies to that order.
16. Governing law and language
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and the courts of Hong Kong SAR (including the Small Claims Tribunal) have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If these Terms are translated, the English version prevails in case of any inconsistency.
